HIGHLIGHTED NEWS
- At the Vietnam Economic Forum 2025, the Director of the Department of Credit for Economic Sectors stated that the State Bank of Vietnam is managing monetary and credit policies flexibly, closely adhering to the economy's capital absorption capacity, while simultaneously perfecting the legal framework under the Law on Credit Institutions of 2024 to support macroeconomic stability and medium-term growth in the 2026-2030 period. As of November 27, 2025, outstanding credit in the entire system reached over VND 18.2 million billion, an increase of 16.56% compared to the end of 2024. The credit structure continues to focus on priority sectors, with agricultural and rural credit accounting for approximately 23% of total outstanding credit, small and medium-sized enterprises accounting for approximately 19%; and high-tech and supporting industry credit recording high growth. In addition, debt restructuring programs have supported approximately 1.3 million customers with outstanding loans of nearly 1 trillion VND, while policy credit outstanding reached over 398 trillion VND, contributing to maintaining socio-economic stability and supporting sustainable growth.
TRADING STRATEGY
- The stock market experienced a spectacular surge, closing near the 1,680-point mark with improved liquidity. Positive sentiment spread across most sectors, led by large-cap stocks in banking, real estate, financial services, retail, and oil and gas. The VN-Index is likely to fluctuate around the 1,670-1,695 point range today.
- The market rebounded strongly after testing the 1,620-1,640 point support zone. While selling pressure appeared relatively early, its intensity was not excessive. Furthermore, the fact that many fundamental stocks were approaching oversold levels and were attractive compared to their valuations triggered strong buying activity. Foreign investors continued their net buying streak for the second consecutive session. The VN-Index is likely to find a short-term bottom around 1,640 points and will recover towards breaking out of the 1,700-1,720 point range in the following trading sessions. Investors should continue to focus their trading, avoid spreading themselves too thin, and prioritize fundamentally sound stocks for medium- to long-term goals.
