Concluding the meeting on science, technology and innovation development on February 25th, the Prime Minister stated that if 2025 is the year of establishing tools for the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and the development of Project 06, then 2026 must be a breakthrough year, proactively seeking documents as strategic experience to develop the digital economy, with the focus on the data economy and artificial intelligence. From there, the main tasks of the task group are outlined as follows: (1) Complete the set of accessories, improve the effectiveness of the Steering Committee, and concretize the targets for 2026; (2) Complete the mechanism, breakthrough in the main mechanism, preferably the data economy and artificial intelligence; (3) Develop digital infrastructure, operate the National Data Center, build a weak database and nationwide 5G coverage; (4) Promote Project 06 in conjunction with administrative procedure reform; (5) Ensure resources, develop high-quality human resources, and prioritize budget for digital transformation.
TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market closed in the red, retreating to the 1,860 point mark, with liquidity continuing to improve. Market differentiation increased. Selling pressure tended to intensify in leading stocks of the technology, real estate, and industrial services sectors. Meanwhile, large-cap stocks in banking, basic resources, oil and gas, and chemicals played a positive role in supporting the index. The VN-Index is likely to fluctuate around the 1,850-1,870 point range today.
The market declined after a series of five consecutive recovery sessions. Although differentiation showed signs of strengthening, overall selling pressure was not too great. The leading role of large-cap stocks remained assured. Foreign investors sold heavily in terms of value, but only concentrated on a few individual stocks, while buying net in terms of volume. The VN-Index is likely to experience a few small cooling-off sessions in the short term before returning to positive momentum towards the psychological 1,900 point level. This is a time when more trading opportunities will emerge, especially for new buying positions. Investors should continue to hold their positions, combining this with opportunities to increase their holdings in strategic portfolios with a medium-term outlook, prioritizing purchases during dips in upward trends. Short-term trades should be flexible and adapt to cash flow movements.
