The draft Law on Personal Income Tax (amended) proposes to apply a tax rate of 0.1% on the transfer value of each transaction for gold bar and digital asset transactions similar to the current securities to increase transparency, publicity and limit speculative activities. The Government will specify the taxable gold bar value threshold, the time of application and adjust the tax rate in accordance with the gold market management roadmap.
According to the survey results of the Department of Forecasting Statistics and Financial Monetary Stabilization, the overall risk level of customer groups is assessed and forecasted by credit institutions to continue to increase slightly in the third quarter of 2025 and the fourth quarter of 2025. However, the rate of credit institutions assessing the overall customer risk at the present time as "high" and "quite high" has decreased significantly compared to the previous survey.
TRADING STRATEGY
The stock market fell back to 1,652 points with liquidity equivalent to the previous trading session. Cash flow continued to circulate with the destination being individual stocks belonging to the group of enterprises operating in the fields of import-export and industrial park real estate. On the contrary, selling pressure focused mainly on stocks leading the banking, financial services, real estate, construction and materials sectors. Today, the VN-Index is likely to fluctuate around the 1,640-1,670 point area.
The market continued to fluctuate with a wide amplitude in the area approaching the 1,700 point mark. The general cautious sentiment in the context of increasing selling pressure in stocks with high mass has somewhat affected the supporting demand, causing the index to not be able to narrow the decline at the end of the session. However, the general cash flow in the whole market is still relatively stable. This move is likely to be just a shake-up in the recovery process with the aim of coordinating cash flow while waiting for domestic and foreign macroeconomic information. VN-Index is likely to soon have a short-term increase in the next few trading sessions. Investors should pay attention to reviewing and restructuring short-term portfolios according to price fluctuations of individual stocks. On the other hand, buying activities for medium- and long-term holding purposes can be considered when stock prices show signs of re-accumulation or recovery at support zones.
