Dabaco Group (DBC VN) - PYN Elite Fund (Non-Ucits) sold 300,000 shares
Following recent information disclosure from the Finnish institutional investor, it already completed selling 300,000 DBC VN shares, just about a month after its purchase of 1.63 million shares. Currently, PYN Elite Fund (Non-Ucits) is still holding more than 30 million shares, equivalent to merely 9% of current shares outstanding.
In late-August, Dabaco also announced results of the public offering of about 80.67 million additional shares to existing shareholders and the ESOP distribution of 12 million additional shares to 226 employees. The public offering brings roughly VND1,210 billion to the agribusiness company while proceeds from ESOP shares is VND120 billion.
Dabaco reported a bullish financial result for H1 2024 with consolidated net revenue of VND6,437 billion (about USD257 million, up +11.2% YoY) and net income of VND218 billion (about USD8.7 million, up +3,480% YoY). DBC VN closed at VND29,600 per share on 10th September 2024, slightly down -6.5% from its adjusted 52-week high of VND31,660 per share but considerably up +90.6% from its adjusted 52-week low of VND15,530 per share.
SeABank (SSB VN) - Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga's son plans to cash out a minor part of stake
In accordance with his filing, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, son of Senior Vice Chairwoman - Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, also brother of Vice Chairwoman Ms. Le Thu Thuy, decided to restructure his personal finance by selling 1.5 million SSB VN shares, out of his current holding of nearly 54 million shares, equivalent to 1.9% of the bank's ownership. The transaction will have 4 weeks to take place, starting on 12th September 2024. Earlier this month, Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang Deputy CEO, completed his sale of 145,000 shares, just nearly 3 months from his previous sale of 120,000 shares in June. The bank itself also received unchanged ratings from Moody's, as stated in this periodic review report dated 7th September 2024, with Ba3 for long-term bank deposits, B1 for baseline credit assessment, and "Stable" for issuer outlook.
SeABank announced its reviewed financials for H1 2024. Overall, it was a good result with total operating income ofVND6,012 billion (about USD240 million, up +42.6% YoY) and net income of VND2,583 billion (about USD103 million, up +60.7% YoY). SSB VN closed at its 52-week low of VND17,000 per share on 10th September 2024, down -36.5% from its adjusted all-time peak of VND26,760 per share in August 2023.
